So I am planning on trading my Runner in or selling on the private market once I dump a little more cash towards the loan and can actually make some money off selling it.

Once I do that I am planning on getting a 02 "Sport Edition". However I have a ?....I've been looking on the net on info and pricing on the 02, and all the specs say the same 183 HP v6.....did the sport edition have a S/C option? and why cant I find any info on it on the net?

So the bottom line is...Did the 02's come with the S/C...if so, what trim level or was it a dealer installed option only? not factory standard?

I'd imagine ill have a harder time finding one if it was not a standard option on one of the trim lvl's?

 

Why would you do that? Cosmetics aside, a '02 is essentially the same as a '97. Supercharger has always been a dealer-installed option at time of purchase, NOT from the factory. It is considered aftermarket, which is why you won't see it on any factory spec sheets.
