Q:Brake Pads?

Has anyone tried the PP "extreme" brake pads? Are they carbon metalic? I have heard that slotted rotors really like the CM pads, and I had good luck with them in my other car, so if the PPs aren't whats a good brand to get? Thanks Guys!

ah, oh yeah... and it looks like I'm going to be the guinea pig of the forum and try out the PP 1" lowering springs. My mom keeps reading all this stuff about SUVs flipping on the highway and is like freaking out. She offered to pay half if I got the springs so why not?? I don't have anything to lose, and I can always switch them out if I finally find some ppl to go out off roading with, but until then, my baby will primarily be atop the asphalt...

Actually, I know that at least Gadget has put the 1" PP lowering springs on his rig, and there may be others as well (sorry if I forgot you).

Oh cool,
