productive day!
So I decided today would be a good day to do some work on my 00 4runner. I thought it was about time to get rid of that check engine light. It all started with rod knock sensor circuit bank 1. So here's all of what I bought and installed
Rod knock sensors bank 1 and 2
Sub harness for sensors
2 intake manifold gaskets
2 plentum gaskets
Throttle body gasket
Throttle body cleaner
Spark plugs and wires
Valve cover gaskets
Air filter
It took about 7 hours but because of a little delay my me losing and intake manifold bolt. But luckily I ran down to work and was able to grab one from a tech that had one laying around. I also cleaned out the maf air flow sensor too. Changed out coolant I say a productive day. Now Im going to have to do some more work here soon its about to hit the 90k mark and still original clutch soo a lot more wrenching in the.next few months to come
