i am trying to replace my belts on my 98 v6 4runner and i can not get the first belt the power steering belt and it will not come loose? i have read through previous threads and i have loosened the tensioner and i think that i have loosened the the right pivit-lock bolt.?.? i havent even gotten to the other belts yet.

btw i have replace a million other belts and have never had this much trouble before.

 

It was a PIA when I replaced this one for my Boy. You loosen the bolt for the tensioner and then have to smack it in to loosen it.
