Hi!

Is the 3rd gen door mirror foldable via a power switch? Is this type of power door mirror available for all model grades? Also, in what year did this come out?

i dont know what year, but i believe whatever the counterpart is to the limiteds here in the states have it abroad (hilux surfs).

Actually mine, an SSR-G (the counterpart of the Limited), has. But the problem is, I hit a truck when backing up so it's broke and I need to replace it.

3rd gen limiteds over here don't have power folding mirrors. They do have power mirrors in that you can move the glass and it is heated, but they can only fold manually.

I guess I'll just have to live with a non-power foldable door mirror as importing from Japan is a bit difficult.

I am still hoping on being able to make a "little conversion" on the replacement mirror to make it a power foldable one.

see if 2001/2002 hilux surfs have them... you never know.
