hey guys im new to the site and some help would be appreciated, i got a 2003 tacoma, 2.7L, 5 speed. when my truck warms up, the power steering makes a whistling noise mostly when turning, and you can feel the resistance in the wheel a bit. when you hit the brakes, it all goes away. what kind of problem am i experiencing? tried searching but could find nothing. thank you

 

Did you check the power steering fluid? Power steering pumps make a whining noise when low on fluid, especially when you turn the wheels.
