I had a lot of fun on that trip. I think I know the limits of the axles, and next time I will probably make the runs on all three days.

I just recieved the seals from ORS, and now Its time to go to work. Plus, I just purchased a Addco rear sway bar from Performanc Products for 130.00. Not a bad price from what I have seen on the net. Hopefully, I'll have this stuff installed this week and will be back to driving the 4Runner. I have not driven the green beast for more than 4 miles since August 16th, when I broke the ORS axle. Can't wait to get back in the saddle again.

Guess I'm waiting for the right buyer, the one with the money. When it comes to money, anything is for sale. However, for the time being, I'll continue to drive it and wheel it, with just a little more TLC on the trials though. Yeah RIGHT...TLC

Steve, those videos are totally awesome! Those are now and forever saved on my computer.

Hey by the way, if you're planning to wheel the rear addco, you can forget about it. It will decrease your wheel travel 4-5 inches. I'm working on a disconnect with Lee, and I've got only one bug to work out, but it's proving to be a pain to fix.

Thanks, glad you liked the Vids. I sure have enjoyed them, and I'll soon have a short clip of the 4runner with the tailpipe sound on the web as well. No crazy stuff like the tan Nissan jumping over the hill and into the trees.

As for wheeling with the Addco, no sir. I plan on making some discos for the rear as well. I'm thinking of welding up some Rod Ends to some square tubing that will have a small square tube sliding on the inside, like the drive shaft slip yoke. In the center, I'll have a pin that can be pulled out to unlock the two square tubes.....just a thought right now. This is one sway bar I don't want to bend, as I did the factory one. Anyhow, the reason for getting the sway bar is to make it more streetable. With the body higher than stock, it does tend to roll a bit more.

You ought to check out Lee's, which I have right now, but the main problem is that the driver's side when it slides up the endlink hits the bracket for the gas tank, making a loud noice every time in addition to ripping the bolt and heim threads apart. The only option to maintain the upward travel is to fab up a different bracket for the tank, which I haven't had time to look at yet. It's a sweet and very functional design, though.

I dig the Movie Maker that comes with XP.
Made this a few minutes ago.
Posted this also on the Greenwater Pics thread.

As always, please right click & save, then play the picture video.
It's under 6 mb, and around 2 minutes 30 seconds long.
The software also lets you use pictures instead of vids you take, pretty slick.

I have some more snazzy software for making videos that came with my DVD burner, but for now the one that comes with XP is a cinch to use.

I'll explore the other software in the future.

By the way, the music in the vid is from the PC game called Interstate 76, a very popular game for the PC about 4 years ago.
The game CD can be played in a car stereo CD deck, and all the tracks are the same upbeat jazzy theme with lots of tight bass, saxaphone, and sizzling guitar licks.

Ok, very cool, however, in reference to the rear discos, is the cross pin (locking pin) strong enough to keep the rod end from breaking it into when under pressure. I don't know what type of pressure is put on these pins, but I would assume it is quite a bit when cornering.

Yeah. It's going very well. I don't want to say more and miss a deadline, but I don't believe you have long to wait.

Good vid Corey! I wish I knew how to make my camera do all that so everyone can enjoy watching mine too.

That video is awesome Steve. I really like watching IFS cross the crack. I am truly impressed that you got a wheel stand out of it, my weight was too forward and I needed to gas it out.

Song was good too, digging your choice in tunage.

You know, that was a really cool trip....until I broke the axle.
Well, next time it will be better and loads more fun. :chicken: I think I'll have to take it easy until the D44 goes in, then its back to the hard stuff or hard-er stuff.
Maybe after the D44, the wife will be voting yes instead of NO for the White Elephant rock.
