Possibility of swapping rear differential with E-Locker rear...

Determining the possibility of swapping a standard rear differential from a 1996 2.7L 4Runner to a 2000 rear differential with an E-Locker. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks

yes its possible but the gear ratio will be different than the front

search, there are a few write ups on this...and when you get to the part about the Wiring Harness and the cool one ORS made for the conversion...you can't get it any more since they went out of business in 2008...
It is a great conversion to do
