My A340H with over 200k on it is heading south fast. I don't want to waste time trying to rebuild it as it would be my first time to mess with transmissions and this is my daily driver. From what I am finding, for under $1700 for the rebuilt + about $500 for the core (which I will have to return) + about $150 for round trip shipping, I can have a new one delivered to my house for me to swap out.

What I would like to know is if there are better prices, recommended places to buy it, or general advice in making this swap? Any help would be much appreciated.

BTW - I changed the wordage from rebuilt to remanufactured due to I would like a like new tranny to put in if possible.
