i had 5% on my Maxima, 5% on this, and probably will have 5% on all my other vehicles afterwards too.
Just dont do anything illegal and you wont have any troubles with it. The only way you can be caught for your tint is if you get pulled over for something else and then they notice it. Well thats how it is in TN anyways, i dont know about that stinky 'bama state down there...

I like em alright, they aren't the brightest lights out there, but i like em good enough. And they are the cheapest bulb i found, $38 shipped i think. Ask Brian about em and where he got them and such. Plus there is a 30 day money-back guarantee on em if you don't like em.

, I'm use to the tint. You'd be surprised...from the outside it looks dark, but from inside, it's hardly noticeable. In fact, most people that ride in my 4Runner don't even know it's tinted until I tell them.

Just remember, the factory tint is just tinted glass. Tinted glass is just for looks...it does not actually block uv rays. However, aftermarket tint does help block against uv rays...which is always a bonus.

yeah. but uv rays aren't my biggest worry when i'm driving. i haven't retinted my rears because i think the tint job from the factory is top quality, i love when people roll down my window and try to find the tint line, then their smile doubles when they find out it rolls down all the way haha

correct, from the factory, cars comes w/ tinted glass...not actual tint like you're getting. However, you can tint over aftermarket tint. I've seen this done quite often in fact. People decide that want darker tint and just tint over the aftermarket tint they already have.
well yeah, uvs are not a big concern for most, but it's just a side plus

Thats what i did, i did 5% over the factory tinted windows
That's what you did - 5% over the oem tinted windows? I think you missed what I was describing, or else I'm misunderstanding you.
Now did you already have aftermarket film tint installed over your factory glass and then tint over that? Or did you just install aftermarket film tint over your oem tinted glass? Again, from the factory, you just have tinted glass...not film tint.
What I was describing was installing aftermarket film tint on top of previously installed aftermarket film tint. Anotherwords, 2 layers of film tint on top of tinted glass.

getting 32 percent (darkest legal) on my driver and passenger windows and a 20 percent tint bar across the top windshield on wednesday. i'm hoping this little bit of tint will help out and making my front match the already darkness of the back windows

kinda stupid if you ask me, but to each their own I guess
