Cool. ya, I'm not sure why they only made holes... You could probably get some blue lighting gel and put a mask behind the speedhut guage so it would glow blue... but that might look kinda cheez too.

That TRD looks waaay better than mine. I'm for sure returning mine...
Another thing I don't like, is that the "red line" doesn't glow at night like most indiglos. I'm going to ask them about that also...

Lsumatt What yr was your runner ?You said on another tread the holes don't match up. Also this ain't no biggy but the gauges don't say rpm or mph on dem as stated in pic. But like one of the members said yeah I give them credit that they would fix up the problems. Like lsu matt said instructions were not so great and small pictures on them. I asked them about that and they said get a hanes book Thats the best they could do. well nice hearing all the stories.

Flips:

What year is your Runner because you have an extra "hole" on your fuel gauge.

I saw those awhile back and didn't care for the "halos" around the needles.

pfdaxe mine is a 2002 sport edition. I told them before I confirmed my order that I only have a 2wd? Do you have 4wd? On my car I checked today everything looks cool n all but were you guys have your check engine light on the half full mark mine is the cruise light on the half mark. Where is your guys cruise light at? on the full tank is my check engine light on the bottm emty there is nothing so that hole is useless to my vechicle, thats where your guys 4wd light is at. I think I might send the gauges back to let them fix mine plus the hole would be to small for the check engine indicator. I also want them to put rpm and mph like on the spot where the factory printed them. I want them in rickshaw format. Lsumatt thanks for the reply? thanks you guys for kepping this topic popular and to the rest of the members for all the help. Oh by the way pfd axe did you unscrew those little screws to get the gauges to mount on? If so I would'nt encounter any probs would I? Iread a post that the needle would get loose or something like that. Also For the glow controller dis you hook the + to the dimmer green wire and where did you put the ground? Thanks again to you all. I feel family here....

2001MillRunner,
Have any of your Piaa bulbs popped yet? I've had Piaa H4s in my headlamps, Piaa Ion Yellow H3s in the fogs, and Raybrig White Sonic H3s in the fogs and all popped within a few months and I didn't touch any with my fingers and get oil on them. Have you had better luck?

Matt

Piaa H4s burnt out after about a year and 1/2 and H3 Ion yellow blubs burnt out after about 7months. I have since replaced it with H4 Nokya and Vision Plus(super white) for my H3 bulbs. Cheapie bulbs but it's been working good for about 4months....sigh I wish HIDs were legal...

I don't know what some have been saying about cutting holes and whatnot. I popped them in, wired it up, and they'er good to go. No hole cutting, no nothing. Sorry no digital camera. Working on that.

Mine had the extra hole cutout on the fuel gauge as well. Mine is a 2wd. I guess they did that for the 4x4 crowd, but they should have allowed us to specify on our order either 2wd or 4wd.

I'm kinda ticked that they didn't give the 4x4's the 5th gauge (4x4). It looks off.
