Pics RE: E Aho Laula = Wider is better 2nd gen on stock 15x 10

Hey guys here's the Pics

E Aho Laula = Wider is better. They said it cant be done. A 15x 10 rims on a stock 2nd gen 1990 4runner without lifting and no rubbing. well I beg to differ....

Im Just bought a set of 15 x 10 Xtreme Alloys 1869, at 4wheelXXXXX sorry no free plugs here, for $212 for all 4 rims and removed my 31 x 10.5 tires from the old factory stock rim. Yes they are bubbled out like JLo's butt, but lets just say their Phat!!! I even tried them aired down to 18PSI no problems. I got that mini monster truck look with a full wheel well. No rubbing however its a tight fit as the wheel sticks out almost 2.3 inches. The true test will be at Pismo Beach on Saturday 11-29

Next step is probably a Daystar 2.25 rear space and a Swayaway 25/27mm tortion bar and twist here and there. Then some 31x11.5 or 31x12.5 tires. The current set up looks really tight though, as it is 3 inches wider than the stock rim. I'm pretty sure a 32x11.5 would rub with the 15x10 rim. I have heard that 32x11.5 is ok with 15x7 rims but nothing bigger. Also I ran into a guy who said he had a 35inch tire on a stock 4runner with the fenders chopped and pounded to death however he's a hardcore 4x4'er and pretty psycho and I wouldnt recommend it...

I'm a surfer and need a serious beach cruiser therefore E Aho Laula (wider is better) after all a Hummer H1 is low and wide.... The runner now feels like its a stabler platform with limited swaying. Ill try to post some pic soon. If anyone has any tips on the 31x12.5's please feel free to voice yourself

thanks Big Kahuna

Lots of Hawaii Runners and 4WD trucks are set up similar to that...w-i-d-e rims and stubby tires. I'm guessing it's a sand thing? Are you a transplanted local?
