Now our trucks are officially brothers:

The box was H U G E !!! I had to take the head rest off the pass set and lay it on there~
try fitting THREE of them in your truck! i had to push the seat all the way forward:

mines older bob

ok, got some sonoran shackle hangers from haveblue and put em up there. the pass side bolts were TOOO long! i couldnt find any that would fit in the hardware stores so i just through 4 washers in there. fit perfectly! the drivers side bolts are perfectly cause they dont have the added depth of the

anyhow, i stuffed a piece of 3/4 fuel hose in the hole of the hanger to keep it from makin noise, cut it a bit long so the shackle was tight goin on. siliconed it up and mounted the shackles. got those from ace hardware foe 12.99 each. they have the pins vise the shackle with the threaded end but they worked for me. i like the color also!

Those who have mounted lights to theirs, what kind of bits did you use cause my buddy has an air comp/air drill gun and we couldnt get more than 1/16 into one side!!!!! i was just gonns try to shoot some holes with his 9mm but was worried about the bouncing bullets!!!!!!!!!! (J/K)

There should be two holes on the top for lights.

i got mine first

drilling: i just used regular high speed stainless bits. make sure you use a punch to indent a little hole so your bit does not stray.

Nice choice! I just got the T-17 as well. I bounced it off of alot of rocks on the trail today and it didn't flinch. When I drilled for my lights and antenna I just used regular high speed steel bits. Drill first with a bit a little less than half the size of the hole you need, then step up to the right size bit. Just make sure they're sharp and have some cutting fluid handy (wd-40 works) to cool the bit.

It was my understanding that none of the T-17s came with pre drilled holes. Mine didn't have any holes other than mounting and winch.

ok, so you got me there! i used a punch to make an indentation and it worked great, just couldnt get through it. when i hit it with the hammer (punch) i realized how stout this thing is. it barely left a mark!!!!!

Sweet....

Looks great.

I really must find a spare grille and do a Satoshi with all the time I get in the basement now that the evenings are getting dark.

Welcome to the club

Just an FYI- Sonoran Steel only offers the wing modifications and mounting bracket modifications to TJM customers who bought the bumper from us. This is all part of the service we offer.

The exception would be if you bought it before Sonoran Steel became a TJM dealer. Like from Mike at Xtreme which is no longer around.

Everyone gets the same shipping quotes from TJM and all of the vendors sell the products at a ridiculously low margin. If you think you want our company to modify your TJM bumper, it would be wise to buy the bumper from us to begin with.

Sweet new bumper. TJM-17 is on the to-do list right after I redo the suspension.

Funny thing is, I just commented to a co-worker about selling out a week's worth of PTO to purchase the new suspension. *sigh*
