Picked up my new Galactic Grey 2005 4Runner SR5 4x4 V8 Sat. So far so good, smooth as butta, but still taking it easy until I get past the break-in.

I was wondering, is it possible to remove the rear hatchback spoiler with out leaving big holes? And the part to this question is installing the factory third brake light after removing the spoiler... the indention for the brake light is there, but its solid sheet metal, so I suppose it would have to be cut or drilled.

I already have a bunch of mods ordered for it, so look for some good before and after photos in the near future...

Congrats, Joey! You'll be better off just swapping someone (or maybe your dealer) for the liftgate and struts from a non-spoiler equipped 2003+ 'Runner.

 

Congrats, now all you have to do is put a N.E. lift kit on it!!!
