PCV Hose 3.4 5vz

The PCV hose on my 4ruuner is cracked. I'm having a difficult time findinginfo on this hose. I'm looking for a Toyota part number and the size in mm. Imay want the Toyota part but will likely buy the hose from the auto partsstore. What is the Inside Dimension of this PCV hose that runs from the PCVvalve to the Throttle body?

I really surprised I could not find any info on the Internet or forums aboutthis part. I bet a lot of 3.4s have a cracked PCV hose.

If i had to guess, i would say 3/8". Pull the pcv valve out and take it to the parts store. You'll want something oil resistant. Silicone hose would work as well.

I think that's pretty close. I guess it is 10mm which is the same as 3/8. Silicone sounds good. Unfortunately, the local Advance auto parts store does not carry silicone but I could get 3/8 rubber hose.

I got some 3/8" (9.5mm) rubber hose. It fit, but was looser than the original molded hose. So i went and got some 5/16" (8mm) rubber hose. The 5/16" ID hose fit nice and tight. So I'll use the 5/16" ID hose to connect the PCV to the TB.

I tested on the Toyota PCV valve. I will make sure it fit's on the throttle body in a couple days when I remove the TB. It looks like a foot of hose is plenty, it will probably take 10 inches.

It will be nice to have a couple inches extra hose here if you like to use seafoam.

I'm pretty sure the part number is 12261-62041. Call your dealer and double-check that though.
