Greetings
Went to the dealer today to get some spark plugs. No one in the Lakewood-Arvada, Golden area carries Denso plugs. Asked for the Denso IK22 plug, parts gal asks what vehicle, and I try to tell her I just need the plugs no vehicle, finally to get her moving I tell her, 2001 Taco S/C etc etc.

She comes back with the stock plugs. I remind her I wanted the 2 step colder plugs, she goes back to look, 10 minutes later she comes out empty handed and tells me that she can get me the stock plug, or an iridium plug (not the right one, stick heat range) or she could order this ....
PTRO1-35040-62. Supposedly a set of TRD Plugs.

Can one of the Toyota parts gurus verify this number, and let me/us know what it is exactly. And are these plugs 2 steps colder?

I have found the NGK part number and hope to have better luck finding

Ummm... why not just buy them from Gadget? They're cheaper than the dealer and there's no question about getting the right plug:
