I was going to add 1.5" BJ spacers to the front to get more downtravel... and since my front is already a little taller then the back.. the extra 2" in the back should match the front 1.5" perfect... at least that's my thinking..

 

FWIW, my panhard is not completely level, but with only mild rod lengthening, I had eliminated rubbing and gained huge flex.

 

How much length did you add?

My rod is only 1/2 inch longer than yours, but that little bit makes all the difference.

Seriously though, the lengthening is only viable when it is close. Other than that, it needs to be bent or dropped to level.

 

That's weird.....in my email it said that there was more to yotafool's post, but I come on here and his message to me isn't there. Anyway to answer the question that isn't on here......I wouldn't think shipping would be more than about $5 UPS ground. That's just a guess judging from other things that I've shipped. I can't remember how much it cost me to ship Shawn's to him. I wish he would get his lift done and give me some feedback. He's in school right now though and that has to come first.

Also, Adrian is right. I think if you go with the lift bracket and then if you have to lengthen the panhard bar itself to make minor adjustments, that would be the way to go. Like I said in that other thread where we began all of this, lengthening the panhard bar for a small adjustment works great......it's just you can't do that to adjust for a 4" lift without moving the mounting point or lengthing and bending the bar (like the "S" type bars that I'm sure you've seen)

 

Sorry Dan, i can never make up my mind when i post something. I'm just trying to find out exactly what i should do and lengths and everything. I definitely want to buy one from you but i just have to figure out what i want (lengths, etc..).
Flygtenstein, so what would you suggest i do for this while buying a lift bracket from Dan because i plan to. What length of bracket should i go with for the OME860's? And would it be ok to lengthen the bar a little with the bracket if i need to. I just want to not be stuck later on by buying the wrong size u know. BTW, thanks for any help guys.

On a side not......I'm going to make an All-Pro knock off bracket tomorrow. I'm considering just making that type only. I think can make them easier and possibly better than my enclosed desgin bracket.

I'll post some picture when I'm done. I'll have to go get some pipe tomorrow to do one so I can get some pictures.
