New member here, this is my third 4Runner never had this problem before. Inside door panel lights and column lights are staying on in the Runner. Have no idea why. I did replace my stereo with a stock one vs. a sony. followed wire to wire application so....? Don't think that is it. Any help would be appreciated.

 

see if you have the dimmer switched turned all the way on so that the courtesy lights are on... i don't know if thats the way it works in those runners, but thats kind of a generic thing for most cars.

 

I hope it turns out to be so simple, thanks, any other ideas?

 

besides that, a faulty door jamb switch.

 

it most likely isnt that if its a 3rd gen, because mine is on all the way at all times.
