What kind of paint do I use to paint my 4Runners front underneath the grill and the grill. I want to paint the grill black cuz it is faded and is chipped. I want under the grill painted white to match the rest of the truck. Like this picture. Would it be wast for a novice to do?

You can get an exact match for the white from the dealer or a paint shop can mix some up for you. That may cost $$$ so you should do any touch up work elsewhere on the truck at the same time. You can even find touch-up paint that you can spray that sould be the same color as the factory white although most paint fades with time and it may stand out.

As for the grill - rattle can it! Seriously - if you can sand down the finish pretty well and then make sure its absolutely clean then you'll be surprised how well it will turn out. I rattle canned by rear spoiler and luggage rack since they were totally destroyed by the sun. Months later and they are still a beautiful semi-gloss black with no cracking, fading, etc.
