To Paint, or not to paint

i dont like the orange turn signals in the rear... and i am thinking about painting them red like others have on here... so i photoshop'ed painting them, but i dont know it if "too much red" since i have a red 4runner... what do you guys think?

^ angle 1, painted

^ angle 1, stock

^angle 2, painted

^ angle 2, stock

i wish i had the ability to make a poll... maybe this will convince me to donate.. do you think its too much red or does it look good...

Do it. You'll be glad you did the orange is hideous. I don't think it's too much red at all.

My 2 cents, too much red. If you don't like the orange, get clear.

Apparently none of you guys have actually tried "picking up" clear tails for the 2nd gens. It's next to impossible to find them, and if they do pop up on Ebay, they're snatched up very quickly and for a stupidly high price. Not even worth it. If you don't like the red, you're out like $3. There's tons of red cars with all red tails stock. At any rate: $3 tails > $200+ tails

Actually I was thinking of going red myself since all red is leagal and clear isn't. Havn't had any problems with mine though. They are almost impossable to find now though. Mine were off ebay years back. They show up every so often and sell for over $200 now.

Miles I think you should mask off the top turn signal part of the tails, and then paint the lower brake part red. Get that sweet BMW look Do ittttttt....

Thanks for doing that. Don't really like it myself but I think all red on black might look cool. For now I will just stick with the clear look.

I like the red/clears...but I do agree they'd look better on a different color rig...
