Oxygen Sensor - Code P0136
Hi there,
My check engine light came ON and when I got it diagnosed I got the P0136 code.
It seems that my O2 sensor failed and it needs to be replaced.
I called toyota and they want $160 for a new sensor.
Please let me know if there are any other brands I should consider.
I own a 00' SR5 4Runner non-CA emmissions.

Then either buy it from them or check Amazon.com by the part number. Should be $65-$75 for an O2 sensor.
Both sensors I have recently bought have been cheapest on Amazon.
They are 10 minute install jobs (unless your nuts/studs are rotten).
You will also need new nuts to install the sensor. I got mine at the dealer.
