Does anyone know a site that lists the available sizes of tires and rims available on 2nd generation 4Runners?

Right now I've got 29 inch tires, 16 inch rims, and about 7 inches of clearance from the top of the tire to the wheel well. I'd like to get a larger set of tires, but since the tires I already have don't appear to be the same size as what is available from the factory I'm not sure how much larger I can go. I know that in the FAQ it says I might be able to run 33's at stock height, but it looks to me likethat 7 inches might give me enough room for a size larger.

I searched the site and with google but came up empty handed...

If no one knows of any pages that could help me, it would be just as good if someone with a totally stock setup can tell me your tire size and the amount of clearance from either the top of the tire to the top of the wheel well or from the center of the rim to the top of the wheel well.

I just need to find out how much higher I need to lift my truck to fit on atleast 33's with no rubbing.

I do know that on my ole 92 Pickup (same truck and clearence as 95 4Runner) factory with 33 would rub in a bad way. I ran 31 x 10.50's no problem. I was told with an odd ball size 32'' I'd also be OK. For what its worth.

you should be able to fit 32x11.5 tires. 31s easily. 33x9.5 would probably rub a bit in a full turn. I would go for a set of 31s.

 

2nd gen 4Runners and 3rd gen 4wd trucks were available with 225/75-15's on 15×6 rims and 31/10.50-15's on 15×7 rims.

 

I'm geared for the 225s and run 31s. I don't rub at all. Cebby was running 32s, so you might want to give him a shout. If you go any higher than 31s, you WILL be hurting in acceleration (with your current gearing). Just keep that in mind. If I were you, I would go with 31s.
