how'd you open the lenses to paint 'em?

stick them in the oven for a bit or something?

 

I didn't open them I painted over top of them and put a coat of clear over after to protect and seal the paint.

 

Buy some clear corners and then spray them?? I think that would work better.

 

hrm... I wonder how doing them a kind of smoked color would look?

anyone have some corners they'd be willing to donate/sell for reasonable?

I can hopefully get some cheap OEM, non clears, did you use the ones originally on your 4runner One_96T4R?

How do you think they'd look on anthracite? They look good on a white runner, but my charcoal green might not be the same deal........

 

I think they'd look better on the grey. The darker color should really bring them out. The original thread creator had a green 4runner and I think they look a little better on his. Yes I just used my OEM corners.

I just swapped out for clears (black truck, had to do it...)

So I've got a set of corners, call 'em $15 shipped anywhere in the US.

If u want the bumper lights (maybe to practice with blackout? Idk), I'll throw those in for $5 and do all 4 lights for $20 shipped.
