Optima Battery...

I just wanted to mention that I recently found a few Optima Red Top batteries at Costco.

I'm assuming they're carrying them now.

They were $99.00 I think, and as far as I could tell were the classic model.

Let me know what you guys think; good or bad.

Hopefully this is the right place to make mention of this fantastically mundane information.

HUZZAH!

Woah! Mine was $169 with a NAPA "Preferred Customer Discount". AKA, $10 off.

I got my blue top starter&charging model from Sams for $108 and the red tops were $99. Thats the best cary out prices I have see yet so I'd say its a good deal.

You will most likely need the spacer for the battery and Costco,Sams et al will not have them in stock. Call OPTIMA now and request one - they will ship it to you free and throw in some stickers as well. Takes about a week to get to you so do it now before you buy the battery that way you dont end up with a loose battery while you wait for the spacer (like I did)
