Opinions on the RB 2" bodylift
Hi Folks,
I am thinking of getting the Roger Brown 2"bodylift and want some opinions on it. I would like to fit some larger tyres, would the 285/70-16's fit with the lift? Or what tyres would be the best fit? I know the lift kit is available with the bumper adjustment brackets, the steering extension and the auto shifter can be adjusted to suit, but what about the fuel filler hose, radiator and on the diesel the hood scoop feeds the intercooler. I would probably have to construct some sort of extension on top of the intercooler.
Is this lift the best option for me, when what I want is to fit some larger tyres and to increase the road presence of the Surf. 90% of the time it will be on road.
Please bear in mind that I am on the opposite side of the atlantic and getting parts shipped over here is not easy!!
Cheers
Ciaran
