Welcome to YotaTech!

People around here are eager to help others out, especially new members, but you'll probably get some flack for a post like this.

There are endless threads on this site about lift options, body lifts, suspension lifts, tire sizes, etc. If you'll use the search feature and do some looking around, you'll find the information you're looking for without too much trouble. I bet if you spent 30 minutes or so reading around, you'd have a much better idea of what you want.

That said, I'll shed some light on your questions. Suspension lift is always more expensive than a body lift because with a suspension lift you're replacing suspension components like shocks and springs. Aftermarket stuff isn't cheap if you want good quality.

Body lifts are usually achieved with some kind of spacers or blocks. As you might imagine, spacers or blocks of material that raise the body of the truck up are much cheaper than new coilovers/shocks/springs. It's not hard to visualize the difference and understand why the former is a much cheaper option.

Along those lines, a body lift is probably going to be much easier to install than a suspension lift, BUT if you want a 3" body lift, you're going to have to do some additional work, like extend the brake line, get rid of spare tire, extend steering column, etc. So, I'd say that in general, body lifts are easier to install. But a big body lift can get complicated and I could see a simple suspension lift almost being easier.

Generally the largest tire you want to run on a 3" lift is a 285 or 33s as many call them. You don't want to go any bigger than 33s unless you're planning to re-gear anyway.

Check out the search and do some reading. Hopefully this answers some of your questions. Best of luck to ya!

I went with the 3" OME suspension lift myself as my stock suspension was sagging quite a bit. From there I added a 2" body lift as I was rubbing at full flex off road. I'm running 33" KM2s and it's turned out pretty well.
