My OME stabilizer has the same gap. I think I've read that is normal. I've had it on for almost a year now and no problems.

1/8" gap between the centerlink and the collar on the pin is normal.

It's normal, Cody(CTB) and I attempted to put his in a few weeks ago and came to find out it's normal.

Ahhh, at least that makes two of us who had a hell of a time with this thing.

Anyway, just like everyone else said...there should be a little gap there. When I was installing, it all made sense once Cebby posted that picture (thanks again!).

I think a little addition to the write-up in the Tech section may be in order...anyone else? It may save a lot of confusion for people later.
