i need these to go with the ome comfort shocks

 

Well, OME shocks and springs are innately extremely soft. Actually the softest out there to my knowledge. I would frst reccomend you to go with OMEN86 shocks. They are still quite soft, should be the same price, but the comfort ones are extremely soft, but if that's what you want then go for it. There woul still be a huge improvement with the OMEN86 shocks over stock. It's the same situation with the springs too. I'd say OME881 front and OME890 rear. If you're an off-roader, I'd say go up a level to OME882 front and OME891 rear. That will give you more clearance because the softer OME's actually will sag a tiny bit more than the HD coils when under the weight of your 4Runner. If you're on road only, you can go all comfort and soft, and by all means you will get it. If it's middle-of-the-road comfort, you will still improve over stock with the OMEN86, OME882, OME891 setup. Or maybe it would be better with OMEN86, OME881, and OME891, because you don't feel as much from the rear if you're sitting in the front. That's what I think.

I'll answer for him (I think, hehe). They are from Mike's site, Xtremeoff-road.com . The prices are in USD, and the best deal on the internet. He even will price match if you find better (when reasonable). When I'm ready to raise my 4Runner, I'm going with him. BigJohn, please correct me if I'm wrong; those are just the same prices as are listed on Mike's site.

Cool. The only better price I've seen is Rocky Road Outfitters. $59 USD per coil spring. I'll buy from Mike either way, if he can match $59 for me, even better!

The shocks are really soft but............ The springs are on the stiff side to compement the shocks.

You want one soft and one hard. IE- Downey coils are soft and Bilstein shocks are stiff. OME coils are stiff, OME shocks are soft.

Double stiff/hard will break your butt.

Double soft will ride like a marsh mellow.

44044's for example are very soft. You would then add a stiffer shock like Rancho or Bilstein.

 

880/890 are the "standard" coils.

FYI, 900/901 are for rear 2nd gens.
