My light periodicaly flickers, Ive checked the oil and its full, so Im thinking that maybe the sending unit has a bad connection. So Im looking for the sending unit on a 3.4. Anyone know.

 

Found the sending unit and cleaned the contacts, problem is still there. So now Im thinking that maybe my idle is too low, it idles at about 5-6 is that normal or should it be higher

 

What engine? If you have a 3.sl0w 2nd gen or 3.4 3rd gen, I think the idle speed is more on the order of 600-800 rpm. I think my 3rd gen idles at about 650 rpm but, to tell you the truth, I really haven't made a mental note of it. I'm sure others on the board will provide the spec setting.
