I'm not a 4Runner owner (yet) but just curious where the Oil Filter is located on the 03's ? I currently have a F150 and would rather get a root canal with a chain saw then change my oil ! It's a Pain in the Fanny getting to the filter !

 

The oil filter is located on top of the right side of the V6 engine. I don't know about the V8. It's sooo much easier and cleaner to change the oil. I love it!!

 

It's on the front left portion of the V8. Not hard to change at all, but you have to remove the skid plate to get to it.
