noise in front driver's spindle.....

I have a couple questions....my front driver's side spindle is making a funny kinda squeaking noise that comes on and off....almost like a scraping. its not all the time and it's not when I hit bumbs, turn the wheel or hit the brakes....its random. It just started right after I installed front 2" spacers. Anyone have any ideas what it is or how to check it??

Also, on a different note, anyone had any experience on rear spacers opposed to rear coil springs? i want to get OME coil springs that will raise it 2" but im also hearing 2" Cornfed spacers may be good to go with too? won't this hurt my suspension, especially for offroading?

thanks for all the info.

the squeeking is probibily 1 of 2 things. a cv on its way out. or a wheel bearing.

as for spacers on the rear its common to add them yes. I personally perfer all brand new coils as they not only give you the lift but also help the ride. the amount of work to put the spacers on is roughly the same as all new coils. there isnt THAT much diffrance in cost either.

i appreciate the help snapon....but now that i listen to it more...cause it seems more frequent now, its more of a scratching or rubbing sound..not my rims on brake calipers though cause their my OEM wheels..and thats more harsh.
