I have a 00 Tacoma 4x4 5spd lately i would be having trouble going into reverse. yesterday it would not go in reverse. The floor shiftier gets stuck in N near reverse also I have never seen the shiftier go that far to the right. I took out the shiftier and I found what I think is metal shavings. Any Ideas wit it might be and how to fix.

 

take apart your shifting mechanisms and find the worn/ broken parts.. hope it is something simple like that... has been several cars i have fixed shifters on in the past.
