..about the Deck Plate mod...
The question is: when we do the Deck Plate mode, will the water get into it when we WASH the ENGINE? if it does then how to prevent that?

When you wash the engine, cross any water or go into a really dusty place just pop the deckplate cover back in and it is an airtight/water tight seal.

The deckplate mod just isn't just cutting a hole in your airbox but a deckplate has a removable window ... hence deckplate ... a hole that can be closed back up when necessary.

Make sure you go to Jason Burtman's website for a complete understanding and instructions to doing the mod. Jalaber has a great write up as well.

We also have two write-ups here on YotaTech in the Tech section on how to do this mod.
