No more 4Runner for me.... :-(
My wife was driving my truck last week and rear-ended someone doing 40mph. Insurance company totaled the truck and kinda shafted me on the settlement.
It was a 1999 4Runner with about 120K miles on the clock. Had a TRD supercharger installed in it. It was a beautiful truck. I took really good care of it. Originally bought it in Texas, had zero rust and I would store it in the winters...I hate snow and salt.
Anyways, here's some pics...

Will probably be getting an FJ now.

Actually my wife and one of my daughters was in the car (7 yrs old). Both are fine. Just a little soreness a couple days later.
Yeah my wife is pretty upset about it...being that it was my truck and all. She won't forgive herself for what she did especially because it was her fault.
I just thank God that her and my daughter were okay. The truck can be replaced, my wife and daughter can't.
The insurance company took the truck and I honestly don't know what happens from there. I did not have the opportunity to take anything, like the supercharger, from the truck. I did however get a chance to take my brand new battery back. Just bought it from Costco the other week and I was able to return it.LOL Hey that was $60 I got back.

Oh yeah, she rear ended a Jeep Liberty...you know the kind with a spare tire hanging off the back tailgate. That's why the hit looks so high. The Jeep actually hit the other car in front of him as well. :-(

IF you do decide to buy it back, and part it out, I might want the doors, and interior plastic, maybe the seats, who knows.
again, glad everyone is ok.

I feel safer in my 4Runner then any other SUV I have ridden in...
(usually a chevy, jeep, or ford...)
Just my .02...
Actually I feel safer in any toyora for that matter...
I hit a Deer in my moms 98' Lexus ES300 at around 40 MPH
We are still driving the car around with a few dents on the hood
(we still havent had a chance to take it in to get teh body work done...)
And it was a nice size deer too...
