Question No lift, just leveling....

Iknow this has been asked plenty of times and I think I even have the proper walk through, but here it goes. I currently am happy with the clearance I get using 31" tires and stock height, but I would like to even out the profile. I am looking to use downey spring in the rear. Questions are as follows:

Do I get the H.D.'s or do I have to get a 1.5" lift spring set? I have been to their site and cannot find the specs on what I need.

I know I will have to raise the front a bit after installing new springs in the rear to level the clearance. From what I understand I can do that with the stock tortion bars. (I know this is not a question, but I need clearification)

Also I plan on getting bilsteins for the rear. I currently have B46-1468 in the front. Will they take the minor raise?

I also planned on getting the B46-1469 for the rear. Will those be enough for the modification?

Thanks in advance!!!!!

Downey screwed up and sent me the non-HD version the first time. The spring coils were the same diameter as stock. I then got the right ones in. They were thicker and the ride is so far improved from stock with the HD version I'm glad I never installed the first ones. If the stock ones sag I wouldn't recommend anything that isn't considered HD.

I have a 94 runner and when I baught it, it saged bad so I ordered a set of moog cargo coils for about 65 bucks I think and it raised it from sagging point about 2 inches. It sits level now but the front has just a tad more clearance because of the way the body is cut. But im happy with it.

Ted your right this is an easy one. First off get the HD coils you DO NOT need the 1.5" spacer kit. That with the coils gives you 3" in the rear which if all you want to do is go level you don't need that much. You can even out the front by tweaking the front torsion bars a hair. You don't want to go much over stock though with ADD hubs or you will start wearing stuff out. I put the HD's on mine and didn't touch the front. As far as the Bilsteins I don't think they will change your height much. It will sure change your ride though. I had worn out stock shocks on mine with 90K and the improvement was unbelievable in the ride and handling. Good luck on this mod and if you need help with the install just read my write up in the tech section
