No 4WD

Hey guys and gals,

After frying my clutch out on the Pismo dunes - we spent 1/2 of Sat and all of Sun to get it back in working order. However, while driving back to San Diego, I noticed that I wasn't getting the 4WD light when I put it in gear. I haven't driven it since (busted ankle) so I have no idea if it even works.

Milton (Cabbage) expressed some concern on Sunday that he seemed to remember disconnecting more items off the tranny and transfer case than what we connected back.

Is this a simple connection fix? OR is there something we could have possibly messed up during the clutch work.

We re-connected 2 lines - I think one was the speedo/tach line and another was on the driver side of the transfer case (I have no idea what it was).

Any ideas?

I know that in my old truck there was a connection that always came loose and wouldn't let the 4WD light come on. It was still in 4WD, but there was no light. You might want to check that out first. It could also be a burnt bulb.

Hey Peter!

I just looked under my truck, and there is another connector that we didnt connect! Its on the right upper side of the speedo cable, on the front of the transfercase!
