Question Newbie Question

Hello all, new here.
I am thinking of getting a 4Runner, and would like to know if it has been known to have any major problems. i.e.- transmission failures, blown head gaskets, drivetrain in general, etc..
Also, it looks like they are fairly capable offroad, how much lift would one have to have to fit 35's?
Thanks,
Ryan

2nd gen runners have head gasket recall on them, check the vin with a dealer, other than that i would say your best bet would be to run a search on the board here, you should come up with quite a few threads.
