New Trucks Emblem

They are using this on their new commercials, and I like it, but you can't get them anywhere. Well... I happen to work for a steel fab shop that does a lot of stainless work. I just may have to make one. The one I am talking about is the one in the top right corner of THIS PAGE.

I know I can't make 'em and sell them, but if I do make one for me, I may just make a few more that I could hand out for free. Then maybe those folks could coincidentally hand me back something else for free, like maybe some paper with pictures of old presidents.

Anyone know where I could get a bigger shot of this emblem?

I don't know where you can get a bigger pic, but if you end up making extras, let me know how much I can donate for the materials it might cost to make something similar to it! email: bassassin78@sbcglobal.net

Ive got some change in the couch you could... happen to find!

But, its not like your making a product they are already making. Thats just a graphic, unless they are making a piece that looks just like your piece, you should be in the clear. People have been borrowing ideas for years. I don't see how making this would be illegal, but I'm also no expert.

I'm wondering if Toyota caught up with the guy that WAS selling the faux TRD stickers.

ted, i'm not sure if i should post my template for this logo here or not. PM me if you'd like to see it. it's pretty accurate and should allow you to machine something. currently, i have it in two sizes: appx 360x340 pixels, and 1400x1240 or so, for additional detail. i drew it in visio, so it's entirely resizeable, so if you needed to specify a particular size, say "life size at 600dpi" i could output to that. i used the image on the site, zoomed in on it, captured that, stuck it in visio, then traced the shapes and did some heinous add/subtract to the stock shapes to make them fit.

i always thought it looked a bit like a knockoff of the pontiac emblem with the bar across the top

the 70s hiluxes were even cooler, they had a big version of that in the center of the grill

New Yota Emblem

Here is what I came up with. If you need it bigger let me know and I'll see what I can do. If it's too pixelated let me know and I'll clean it up.

I too would be interested in one of these. I think it would also make a pretty sweet key chain, if you catch my drift.

Wow noodle!

If you made something like that, I'd be all over it!! It would have to be somewhat small though... I'm not toooo into the bling thing.

Hmmm..... I too think it would be cool to have a key chain of sorts. I'm getting a 3D model made. I will try and find out how much it will cost me to make such things as a trailor hitch plug and keychain. Too bad I can't sell these. But we will see whose trash cans I can barrow to dispose of any extras that I happen to make. I'd have to mail them to those people and trust they would properly dispose of said trash. I'll post to this link again when I have extras.
