I just bought some 16X8 rims for my 2001 Toyota Tacoma SR-5 4X4 2.7L. My question is, can I put 285/75/R16 tires on these rims and put them on my truck with no problems? I also would like to get a 3 inch lift. Will the 16X8 rims mounted on 285/75/R16 match the lift? If not, any suggestions? Sorry for my ignorance.

welcome to the site.... those tires will fit fine on those rims..... gettign the lift with that tire combo will be perfect

 

That is good to hear and thank you for the quick response. So will the 285/75/R16 on my 16X8 rims work on my truck without the 3 inch lift?

 

You'll probably have rubbing without a lift ...
