Guess what ignition wires I'm getting for my 'Runner...MSD! 
Thanks for the input, both positive and negative, the upgrade on the wires is merely the first step in a complete ignition system upgrade to full out MSD.

i wouldn't bother upgrading the whole box to MSD especially if you have an EFI truck. the toyota igniter flat out rocks, and most last for at least 25-30 years.
now, if you had a carb which tends to flood out on hills, this would be a different story...
