finally ditched my original running boards and my friend and I built sliders today. I modled them after the ones available from Badland----

I will not be there on Sunday. My wife and I are taking a road trip up north--Pismo Beach to Monterey.

I will have to try them soon though. We welded them on. I did not like the idea of drilling holes into my frame.

 

The sliders came out great!! I still need to get plugs for the open ends, but they look great.

Very nice. I aspire to damage my running boards one day so I have an excuse to purchase sliders instead.
