Looks good. I like the stock steelies.

They wouldn't work on everyones truck but look good on yours.

Next time have them put the weights on the inside then you don't have to paint them

this type of balancing is called a static balance. sometime you'll get a bad balance out of it but thats why you get tires from a shop with free balancing. lol i went every day for a week. haha finally got it right!!!

I like it. Makes it look tough. I will be painting my stock rims black instead of trying to find 4 spares, but in the end, will look the same. But the positive on your part is you won't get any peeling or chips!

SC4Runner - I see the FJC steelies on craigslist all the time. But they are 17", IIRC. Perhaps a junk yard?

Yeah I don't think it looks too bad at all.

I can't wait to see the lift on it....then you'll really be flying high.

I'll hold judgement until I see it with a proper lift. I'm not sold on the look with the ATs, the wheels look almost army issue and I could see running them with some tall narrow swampers or something. Something mog like...? They do look 100x better with everything painted...

Thats what they will be running next, some 255/85/16 mud terrains.

I like the look.
I use to like shiny rims, in fact the stock FJ alloys I think are some of the sharpest factory rims out there.

However I made the switch last summer to all black wheels, and I like the look much better.

I also think it would look better with the white letters in on your rig.

That was part of my plan, I have heard people talk about doing this, but not many doing it, so I did and loving it so far.
