I had a little accident and am getting some insurance money. Well I want to get the new CBI hybrid tire carrier. I have the Burtman industries "cornfed" 2.5in spacers in the front and 2.0in the back. I have started to have some sagging already even on my tall 99 coils and spacer with the stock bumper. I want to get some OME coils for the back. I don't know if I should keep the 2in lift in the new rear coils or if I should go to 3in. I also cannot get anything besides light duty OME coils unless I go 3in. I want to have the option to tow a boat or something as well as carry my Autohome RTT.

What do you guys think? 890, 891, or 906?

How much sag will the bumper with the tire carrier cause?

I have been doing a little research. Could i remedy the problem by adding air bags? Like the Firestone air bags on Toytech.

airbags would just be a bandaid....to your spacers witch are a lift bandaid. 2 bandaids = bad I would recommend that you invest in new coils and not airbags at this point imo. I think 890's would be good with your 2" spacer setup in the front and ride pretty good. but I'm sure some would suggest the 891 or the land cruiser coils...my worry would be how much rake you would get with either of those with your current front setup.

 

I researched the air bags and they seemed like a terrible idea. I plan on going either with an 890 or 891 coil. I just don't know if I need the heavy duty 891 or not. Would a aftermarket rear bumper with tire carrier and subs in the back be enough weight to need the 891?
