I just got done installing the Performance Products Progressive rate springs, and they're great. In the past when I've upgraded rear springs, it made the vehicle ride too rough, but not with these! I bought them for $199 when they had free shipping.

I jacked up one side of the 'runner, propped the frame up behind the wheel, and changed one side at a time. The tip for disconnecting the sway bar helped, and disconnecting the shock is neccesary, althought I was able to just leave it hanging. I bought a cheap set of spring compressors from Harbor Freight, and used a 15/16" ratchet to compress/decompress them. It took me 3.5 hours including tool cleanup.

I also took pictures of my new mudflaps. I was debating OEM Toyota truck ones that Corey has, but I couldn't see ~$160 for the set, so I got these from Pep Boys, 12X18 on the rear, and 10X16 in the front. They're about 1/4" think, diamond pattern. I think they look decent, not too loud, but not too wimpy. $40 for the whole set.

Thanks, I am really impressed with how much better it rides. It isn't too stiff at all, but handles big dips in the road better. Also, the mudflaps actually help quite a bit to keep it cleaner. (duh)

I ended up across from my wife at an intersection earlier today, and she didn't think it was me, because she could see the thrid brake light. I had to explain that she never saw it before because it had butt sag!
