Lee, Man you have made such a transformation with your truck! It is so inspiring. Do you rub on the frame at all?

Great looking tires (and sweet rig)....I always loved the look of the TrXus M/T's but the issues I had with balancing and rough ride got to me. However, off-road they pulled like tank tracks...

Congrats on a fine looking 4Runner.

Looks good lee. I think that you will be happy with them. I had them on my 93 with a 4" lift and 33" TrXus. they do vibrate a little, had mine balance like 4 times, and they might seem to wear a little odd, had my alignment checked twice, but for what you pay they are the best tire you can get. They never let me down in any situation. My wife actually preferred them to the street tires that we had before.

Great, aggressive looking tire. I like the sidewalls.

thanks, i really cant believe how far its come in a yrs time

i guess that explains why my credit card company loves me

no rubbing on the frame, no. i do still rub the pinch weld area on flex as before, but not in anyway that hurts the tires.

thanks guys, very consistent. i have heard nothing but good things, minus the balancing issue.

ill get it redone and see if someone else can do a better job. right now theyre balanced with a combo of the regular weights and stick on weights.

Never mind I can still see the bilsteins in the daytime pic, great looking tire. How is the road noise?

I love the look of your rig! The aggressive side walls of the Trxus tires are sweet. Just out of curiosity, did you consider any other tire brands?

yeah i was thinking bfg mt's or maybe the destination mt's.... but the price of these trxus cant be beat

theyre only 170 a tire or so, i paid about 800 m&b... if id gone with the bfgs for example, i wouldve paid around 1100 m&b.

road noise is low so far... but keep in mind i went from mtr's (loudest tire ever), to worn procomp mt's (also pretty loud) to these, so my tolerance is high

little bump for an update

hit up a trail on the 10th.. yes i couldnt wait to hit the trail with these things they did GREAT. the trail was varied... some mud (i avoid mud like the plague though), loose rocks, water, wet rocks, ice, etc.

really fun trail and the trxus really gripped nicely in everything, including the ice, which was a nice surprise.

im interested to see how they do as they wear down. unfortunately they went out of balance instantly... so i am having them balanced again on friday

i dont want uneven wear.

Looking good man. Good luck with them. I love the sidewall. They look like they could climb out of ruts well.
