Sorry about being so off topic, but do you have any more information on how you made these? I ordered my LED tail lights last week and plan on flowing your tread/write up on the LED 3rd brake light. I was thinking about making some front turn signals while I'm at it and any info would be greatly appreciated!

More pics!!! W/out the running boards, and somewhat off-road
Side shot w/out the running boards

I found a rock to test out the flex a little...

I also made a discovery... The tires definitely rub at full flex
I guess I might have to throw on a 1" body lift down the road, maybe...

I'm actually up in Logan right now, but I took it out today and it did great! Traction on the Nittos is unbelievable compared to my old tires. I'm extremely pleased with the difference. The new suspension is soo composed compared to the stock setup. I highly recommend it to anyone

So to sum it up, you only have Steve's 7.2 lift? No gearing, wheel spacers, etc?
I just lifted my 2000 with Tundra/OME/Downey stuff and can't make up my mind as to which size tire to go with, and yours looks GOOD! I think I'm going to go with 255/85R16 to avoid the rubbing all together, but I have to ask...What's your mileage like?
Looks good brother
. Post that LED stuff too if it's no trouble (photos and all).

i have steve's 1.2 setup and currently running on ProComp M/T 285/75/16. i did put on a pair of 1.25" spacers on the front hub to allow the tires to clear the UCA. i have rubbing problems when flex on both front and rear tires. just too lazy too hot out there right now, but it wont be some thing a BFH couldn't handle.
i think the 1.2 is taller than 7.2 in the back but i'm not sure.

question for those running 285's
THose of you who have posted and are running 285's or larger do they "stuff" without hitting fender or rub when you cut the wheel? I just installed the SS 1.2 system on my 2000 4runner and I am trying to figure out what size tire will fit and what backspace I will need. I have some BFG AT's to use as my DD tires. I want to get the new km2's but they are only available on a 17inch rim in the 285 size.
