My B%^&h has developed a small leak in her fuel lines somewhere in the front where the steel line ends and the hoses begin (i think, based on where the small puddle of gas is) does anybody have an idea which hose is which in the engine bay. The haynes manual sucks at showing this. Thanks and happy holidays Aviator.

Your fuel line that goes from metal to hose that you are refering to is the fuel line from the tank but it will be locate at the rear of engine right side (passenger side). The only other fuel hose is the one that runs from the middle of the right fuel rail to the cold start injector that I know of!! The rest seem to be all metal tubing and banjo fittings!!

i have had the fuel damper spring a leak before.so i knocked the diaphram end off and brazed it up. fuel still flows AND it will never leak again. You also have a low presure fuel return line in the pass side eng comp. The pressure regulator is in the left center eng comp in plain view,a small vacuum hose runs to it.It attatches directly to the fuel rail, any rubber hose may or may not leak.

update on leak, anybody got a better idea?
I had a mechanic buddy of mine crawl under the truck while I had it running ( he's very trusting bwah-ha-ha-ha) and he told me he could see the gas spraying out around the top of the sending unit by the fuel lines right on top of the tank. His diagnosis...new sending unit needed. Which means I'll have to drop the $^* tank. The worst thing is my mechanic (who does my work) can't get me in to his shop till thurs./fri. So far i've pissed about a 1/4 tank over the side. Oh well it could be worse at least she still runs even if its really hard to get her started. I'll just have to nurse her along for a week. Unless anybody else here has a better idea. Thanks and happy holidays Aviator.
