Need help/expertise on differential plug
So about a month ago i got new gears put in my 02 4runner. The guys that did it put the front differential drain plug in so tight that it is now perfectly round on the inside, where it should be a 10 mm allen wrench hole. I need opinions and ideas and anything that can help me get this out to change the fluid. I dont really want to drive another 2500 miles with the fluid that is in there currently. I thought about taking it back, but thats a two hour drive and im leaving this weekend. PLEASE HELP!! THIS IS MY DISTRESS CALL!!!

^^ Or, Have a welder ? A friend with a welder ?
A fab shop or even a muffler shop near by..?
Get a Nut and tack it on there in 2 small spots, Now you have a solid point to attach a socket to..

If nothing else, see if you can find these----> http://www.irwin.com/irwin/consumer/...rwinProd100509
I have a set of these at work and use them often for rounded hex and torx fasteners.
Get it warm with a torch around the bolt first. The one on mine was in pretty tight from the factory and needed some heat to get it out.
Good luck
