i have a 2001 runner and i just installed a 3' toytec coil spacer lift and i want to know what size 33 i can fit under it..i know most of yall run 285s and ive searched for them but it looks like you can only fit 16s on 285s? id really like to run a 15 inch wheel aswell but i dont really know what width would be good?? i dontw ant it to look like my tires are too wide ya know? can someone help me out?

 

you may have trouble fitting 15" wheels. Did your runner come with 16" wheels? If you have VSC, you CANNOT run 15's. If you can, I would say a 33X12.50 would fit with minor rubbing, but unless you need it, I would say just stay with the 33X10.50. You should always get the smallest tire you need.

 

Also - just noticed your name ATL 4runner. You in the ATL area?

 

yea i had problems with 15's, so check that out before you even consider it.

here, play with this tire comparator thingy...

just put 285-75-16 into the first box, and then put known versions of 15" tires in the second part, then compare to see what ones have the same decimal widths and overall diameter

for example ...

285-75-16 width = 11.22" diameter = 32.83
285-80-15 width = 11.22" diameter = 32.95

i just don't know if it is a real size tire

 

yeah it came with the flower bloom 16' wheels and im pretty sure it came with VSC so basically i should rule out all 33 inch tires and i have to run metrics like 285s? yeah i live outside of atlanta in the suburbs..specifically alpharetta if you know where that is
