Mystery Leak WTF?!?!?!

OK, so I changed my oil a month ago and ever since I have some mystery leak and it's NOT oil.

My oil level is consistent within the full range.
Power steering fluid level is fine.
Brake fluid is fine.
Coolant is fine.
Trans fluid is fine.

The only other thing I could think of is that it's refrigerant from when I recharged my AC.

It's like my 4runner is marking like a dog everywhere I go and can't figure out for the life of me WTF it is and where it's coming from!

Are you sure it isn't the excess A/C condensation?

where is it coming from (front or rear, left or right)? does it have a color? if you crawl underneath, does anything look wet?

That's my guess with no further info. If the puddle is up front, is not greasy to the touch, and has no odor, its probably AC runoff.

In AZ, my 4R consistently pees from April to October.
Good luck.

Nope, not the AC condensation.

I'll put it up on ramps today and dig deeper

Long shot. I'll put my money on AC condensation for now.

Problem solved.

The drain plug needed to be very tight to the oil pan. I used a new aluminum washer/gasket and all but for some reason did not totally seal the last time I changed the oil.

HOORAY.....

It was such a miniscule amount of drippage that it did not affect oil levels, but did leave a spot on the ground.

With an additional 1/8th of a turn or so when changing the oil this weekend, I no longer have any drippage.

Mystery solved, truck runs and looks like a champ!
